She has an interest in trust law having lectured in land law and trusts at the City University in London from 1995 – 1997.
In 2008 Sarah spent a sabbatical in Perth, Western Australia, working as a paralegal in a specialist firm of family solicitors and gained valuable exposure to the Australian approach to children and matrimonial proceedings. Sarah trained as a civil and commercial mediator in 2009 and has completed her training as a family mediator in 2012.
She is interested in all forms of alternative dispute resolution, recognising the potential limitations of the traditional adversarial process in family litigation.
