The Family-Criminal Interface Committee has produced an authoritative guide for practitioners, Related Family and Criminal Proceedings: A Good Practice Guide. The publication, likely to be an invaluable tool for specialist practitioners in dealing with cross-jurisdictional issues:

  • provides a general overview of the jurisdictions involved
  • includes practical advice and assistance to practitioners dealing with such cases
  • identifies and promotes best practice in terms of information sharing to improve dialogue, understanding and, ultimately, outcomes, and
