Procedure and Costs Committee open to new members

Date:8 JUN 2007

As the Family Proceedings Rules Committee (FPRC) considers the impending new draft rules, the Resolution Procedure Committee, chaired by David Burrows, has been reformed and seeks new members who are committed to improving the family justice system. Now incorporating the matter of costs within its remit, the Committee hopes to have an important role in helping with some of the FPRC's work and will include within its brief all forms of procedure - children, domestic violence, money etc. Send A CV and reasons for wanting to join the Committee to David Burrows at david.burrows@dbfamilylaw.co.uk or 20 Park Row, Bristol BS1 5LJ, DX 78107 Bristol 1, or telephone 0117 929 4848 for a general discussion. For further information about the President's new family law framework see July [2007] Fam Law.
