Justice Cobb has joined the editorial boards of the
Family Law Reports and the
Family Law journal as Consultant Editor.
Sir Stephen Cobb has been a Justice of the High Court since
2013. He sits in the Family Division,
the Family Court, the Court of Protection and the Administrative Court of the
Queen’s Bench Division.
Stephen Cobb was a specialist family law barrister for over
20 years before being appointed to the Bench. Since becoming a QC in 2003, he
specialised in the law relating to children.
He won the prize for Family Law QC of the Year at Jordan Publishing's
Family Law Awards 2012, and for two years (2010-2011) was Chairman of the
Family Law Bar Association (FLBA), at a time of significant change for the
Family Bar.
