In light of the comments of the President what can we now expect with regards to greater transparency in family courts and how will this now impact media reporting. The implications of this will now not only apply to children matters but also financial hearings. What detail can be now published? In what circumstances and who has the right to seek reporting?  The desire to move away from often long distressing protracted proceedings is taking pace with impetus to consider alternatives to court. How are the new April 2024 rule changes to Mediation Information and Assessment Meetings (MIAM) seeking to improve their effectiveness.
