There are moves from different sources, including HMCS and the DCA, to rework the prehistoric system we have at present into a modern and well thought out electronic family court service. This article envisages some of the improvements and costs savings that might result from a more open approach to the involvement of computerised systems in the court process, including booking court dates in the same way as one might book a seat on an aeroplane and accessing online libraries of legal resources at court.
