A number of family law practitioners have been recognised by the judges of the LexisNexis Legal Awards and included in the shortlist for a variety of awards, including the Award for Legal Services Innovation, the Award for Wellbeing, In House Team of the Year, International Team of the Year, and Legal Personality of the Year.
The LexisNexis Legal Awards 2020 will be held on 11 March 2020 at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane.
The Divorce Surgery is shortlisted for the Award for Legal Services Innovation, having beaten the competition for the Family law Awards 2019’s Award for Family Law Innovation of the Year. Family Law in Partnership and Stowe Family Law are both contenders for the Award for Wellbeing. Working Families, the UK’s work-life balance charity, is shortlisted for the In House Team of the Year. Expatriate Law, a specialist form in expatriate divorce and family law, is shortlisted for the International Team of the Year Award.
Jo Delahunty QC, a regular contributor to the prestigious Family Law journal, is shortlisted for Legal Personality of the Year. The Legal Personality of the Year award honours an individual (not necessarily with a background or qualification in the law) who has made an outstanding contribution in the legal sphere in the past year. This award is a community award, voted for by the entire legal community. People have until 17:00 on Wednesday 12 February to cast their votes here.
The Awards recognise the finest achievements and talents of remarkable individuals and teams across the entire legal sector.
