Cryptocurrency: focus on the use, not the tech

Most people are confused by cryptocurrency, but that might be because they are focusing too much on what is ‘under the hood’ and not enough on where cryptocurrencies are going. Clients need their lawyers to help them future-proof themselves, which in turn means we need to know what cryptocurrencies can do and what changes they might bring to our lives. This article reflects on how cryptocurrencies and blockchains are evolving and what lessons we can learn from the history of money which might help us understand where this brave new financial world is leading.
