A summary of useful cases from 2021 in respect of claims for reasonable financial provision under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. These are particularly helpful when dealing with claims regarding adult children, minor children, cases where a CFA success fee is involved and claims that involve contracts to leave property by will, as may be the case where financial remedy proceedings have been settled.
