CCMS update for advocates and clerks

Latest on master classes, bulk upload pilot and improvements to Client and Cost Management System (CCMS).
Online Client and Cost Management System (CCMS) master classes are now available for advocates and clerks to book for 30 January and 23 February 2015.
The WebEx master classes last no more than an hour and will help those using CCMS. They’ve been very popular with providers, so we hope that you’ll book the limited spaces available – see link below. We’ll provide more classes in future to meet demand.
Topics include:
- logging on to CCMS
- actions and notifications
- billing – including payments on account
Bulk load pilot update
We’ve now had more than 300 claims submitted as part of our pilot to test the bulk uploading of bills from chambers’ and providers’ case management systems to CCMS.
Bulk uploading allows you to save time by uploading billing information from your internal billing software without needing to input billing data line-by-line.
We’re now looking at the best way of extending bulk uploading to a wider group of users and will update you to confirm our decision.

Electronic remittance advice
We are continuing with our gradual rollout of electronic remittance advice slips which can be accessed in CCMS.
These are being sent as a notification to chambers administrators and look the same as your paper copies so they may contain CIS cases.
You’ll continue to receive paper copies alongside electronic versions until we’ve completed rolling out the electronic slips.
Future improvements
Following feedback received from CCMS users, we will publish information about future improvements shortly.
