Care applications received by Cafcass in December increase by 17%

Figures released by Cafcass show that the number of care applications received in
December 2015 increased by 17% from those received in
December 2014. A total of
1,092 care applications were received.
Between
April 2014 and March 2015 Cafcass received a total of
11,155 applications. This figure is
5% higher when compared to the same period in the previous financial year, when
10,620 applications were received.
