Date:20 OCT 2010

23 November 2010Family Law is pleased to announce a new training update, Pre-Nuptial Agreements post-Radmacher, which will be held in London on 23 November 2010.

The timely Family Law update is designed for private client  and family lawyers providing advice on ancillary relief and the financial provision of spouses under the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973 and will offer practice notes following the Supreme Court's ruling in Radmacher v Granatino [2010] UKSC 42.

The key speaker will be barrister Nicholas Francis, Head of Chambers at 29 Bedford Row. Nick is the co-author of Pre-Nuptial and Cohabitation Agreements published by Family Law. He specialises in matrimonial property and finance, with particular expertise in pre-nuptial agreements (he appeared in the landmark decision of K v K). A Fellow of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, many of his cases have an international element. He also acts in family law-related professional negligence (both claimant and defendant) work. Nick is a regular lecturer on high value ancillary relief claims and a frequent contributor to articles in the Family Law journal. He has appeared in numerous reported cases in recent years and is a former Bar Council and FLBA Committee member.
