Following Mrs Justice Black elevation to the Court of Appeal, Peter Jackson QC has been appointed as a High Court Judge with effect from 1 October 2010.
Peter, 54, is a member of 4 Paper Buildings and was called to the Bar by the Inner Temple in 1978 and took Silk in 2000. He practices in a range of non-financial family law areas including adoption, Children Act proceedings and wardship.
Chambers and Partners 2010 described Peter as a leading silk saying that he "wins virtually every case he touches."
