William has lectured on a range of subjects, including disclosure, confidentiality and privacy, insolvency, nuptial agreements and child abduction, and in 2011 acted as rapporteur to the Dartington Interdisciplinary Conference.
Between January and April 2013 he was on secondment in Munich with a firm of German lawyers working on family and civil (mainly privacy and media) cases and also spent time sitting with judges in the local court and state Court of Appeal.
