Ryan Myint

Partner | Taylor Wessing LLP

Ryan is a partner in Taylor Wessing’s International Private Client team.  He is based in London, following a posting in Taylor Wessing's Singapore office from 2012 to 2015, where he played a leading role in the development of the firm’s international private client business in Singapore and South East Asia.

He advises entrepreneurs, business owners, fund managers, property developers, high profile international families, offshore trust companies and private banks.  He has particular expertise in advising Asian clients, and European and Middle Eastern clients with an interest in Asia.

He specialises in trusts, wealth structuring and succession. He is an expert in multi-jurisdictional tax planning, including cross-border tax reporting, disclosure and transparency issues.  He also advises on governance, family constitutions and charters, asset protection, philanthropy, and private client issues arising out of corporate transactions.

Ryan studied law at Cambridge University, graduating in 1998. He trained at Withers and qualified as a solicitor in 2001.  He subsequently practised in the private client group at Clifford Chance, joining Taylor Wessing in 2004.  He became a partner at Taylor Wessing in London in 2010.

In January 2011, Ryan was appointed General Editor of The Journal of International Tax, Trust and Corporate Planning (Jordan Publishing), succeeding David Brownbill QC.  He is frequently asked to give expert comment by the news media, particularly on issues of international taxation and private wealth. 

Ryan is a member of the International Bar Association, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and the Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats (Private Client Commission and Tax Commission), and regularly speaks at private client and tax conferences.
