Maria specialises in children’s cases with an international element. She frequently represents parents in child abduction proceedings and jurisdictional disputes concerning children.
She also represents parents in care proceedings and her expertise in the field of international children’s law has meant that she is skilled in representing parents in care proceedings with an international dimension, as well as public law proceedings where there are serious allegations of abuse or non-accidental injury.
Maria was short listed for the prestigious Family Law Young Solicitor of the Year 2012 (
