Madeleine Reardon has deliberately maintained a wide family law practice which covers all areas of children work, both public and private, ancillary relief and Schedule 1. She has a particular interest in complex private law children cases and has recent experience of international adoption, same-sex parenting (including surrogacy), relocation and transfer of residence/intractable contact cases. She has been a recommended junior in Chambers and Partners since 2005 and has been placed in ‘Band 2’ for children work for the last 3 years. She is frequently led by, and appears against, Queen’s Counsel.
Madeleine is a trained mediator and part of Chambers’ DRS group.
In October 2010 she was appointed a Deputy District Judge (Civil).
