An award-winning education and social affairs journalist, Louise writes for publications including the Guardian, Observer, Sunday Times and Newsweek.
An early foray into training took her to post-conflict Kosovo where she spent a year advising journalists on the principles of independent reporting in the run up to elections: she’s since designed and delivered courses for NGOs, social enterprises and HE/FE institutions in the UK and abroad, where the experience has thankfully been rather less fraught.
A confident and engaging public speaker and commentator, Louise is available to chair conferences, workshops and seminars.
Longlisted for the 2015 Orwell Prize for Exposing Britain's Social Evils
Winner, outstanding national journalism, 2014 CIPR Education Journalism Awards
Winner, outstanding schools journalism, 2013 CIPR Education Journalism Awards
Winner, Rosemary Goodchild Award for Sexual Health Journalism, 2013 and 2014
