Gwyn Evans

At Tanfield Chambers, Gwyn has a family and private client practice, encompassing financial remedies, trusts of land, inheritance disputes, court of protection work, presumption of death and challenging - often international - private law children cases. Gwyn combines excellent client care skills with thorough technical legal knowledge.

Gwyn graduated with first class honours (Social and Political Science) from Emmanuel College, Cambridge in 1996. He also obtained a distinction in acting from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School before completing his GDL at City. He regularly lectures for CLT on TOLATA, and writes for Family Law Week, LexisNexisPSL and Family Law on financial remedies and TOLATA.

A member of Gray's Inn, Gwyn is regularly acting and singing in Gray's Inn Miscellany.

Gwyn is the winner of the 2016 Family Law Commentator of the Year award.
