Cate read Law at Downing College, University of Cambridge, where she studied a broad range of elective subjects, including Family Law, Aspects of Obligations, Media Law and Medical Law.
Cate first joined Vardags as a Paralegal before completing her training contract with the firm alongside studying the part-time Legal Practice Course at BPP.
Outside of work, Cate enjoys travel, theatre and acting, an interest she pursued by attending part-time acting classes at the Sylvia Young Theatre school in London for two years alongside her university studies.
She has travelled extensively around Canada and the United States, driving 10,000km from Los Angeles to New York City, and spent a year living in Ulsan, South Korea, where she taught English before moving into publishing as a Series Editor at a Korean publishing company. She speaks French, as well as basic Korean.
