Beverley Taylor

Formerly a lawyer in the office of the Official Solicitor where she headed the office’s healthcare and welfare team for a number of years, as well as the office’s property and affairs team. She is co-author of Mental  Capacity: A Guide to the New Law, 2^nd edition (Law Society, 2008) and a contributor to the Deprivation  of Liberty Collected Guidance  (Law Society, 2016) and Assessment of Mental Capacity A Practical guide for Doctors and Lawyer,  4^th editions (British Medical Association and Law Society, 2015). She is a member of the Law Society’s Mental Health and Disability Committee and the Camden and Kings Cross Research Ethics Committee.
